Take a look at some of our favorite therapeutic approaches:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an Evidenced-Based Practice that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is commonly used to treat a range of mental health experiences including anxiety disorders, depression, phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy that emphasizes the balance between acceptance and change, incorporating elements of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is an approach primarily used to treat trauma-related disorders. EMDR is based on the idea that traumatic experiences can become "stuck" in the brain's processing system, and by engaging in bilateral stimulation, the brain can reprocess these memories in a way that promotes healing and resolution.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is an Evidenced-Based Practice that focuses on improving the quality of one’s interpersonal relationships and social functioning by addressing distress with any of the following: life transitions, role disputes, interpersonal deficits, and/or unresolved grief.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a treatment method that utilizes your visual field to connect with the parts of your brain that hold onto unprocessed trauma. Brainspotting invites clients to process distressing experiences by following the lead of their body.

Jungian Therapy

Jungian Therapy helps find internal balance by bringing the unconscious into the conscious. Jungian Therapy hopes to focus on the authentic self by exploring the deeper, hidden parts of one’s mind. One popular method of doing this is through shadow work.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy focuses on the lens in which one sees things through the way internal stories are being told. It helps build compassion for self and/or others by humanizing people and rewriting harmful narratives into healthier ones.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic Therapy takes a look at the whole person by collaborating the viewpoints of the therapist and the individual in treatment. Humanistic Therapy highlights one’s desired traits and helps one explore their own instincts for growth and healing.

Existential Therapy

Existential Therapy focuses on the individual, rather than the symptoms. Existential Therapy explores one’s search for meaning, free will, and self-determination in order to increase self-awareness and self-understanding.
