Who Am I?

Hello, my name is Sunny. As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping high-achieving adults navigate feelings of alienation and loneliness while working towards maintaining meaningful connections with others. The majority of my practice focuses on individuals who have a long history of being a high-achiever and struggle to feel strong emotional attachments. I work from a cognitive-behavioral approach and help my clients to make meaningful changes through pattern recognition and creating action plans for growth.

I help you to establish reliable coping strategies to navigate stress and anxiety, as well as exploring underlying beliefs that may have impacted your relationships and attachments. I strongly believe in working collaboratively with you to identify behavioral changes based on your strengths and pacing. I encourage you to share feedback, ask questions, and express what helps you during therapy sessions.

What’s a Session with me Like?

Working with me, you can expect to have insightful and thought-provoking sessions filled with honesty, encouragement, and gentle challenges. I excel at connecting past and present dynamics and pointing out patterns by providing information on how these dynamics affect present behaviors and thoughts. I am not afraid to have emotionally difficult conversations and take a hands-on approach to help you achieve your goals. I often suggest exercises between sessions and can provide you with many links and resources to support your growth.
